Broken Roads Hired Gun Origin Story Released

Set in the Australian post-apocalyptic outback, get acquainted with Drop Bear Bytes and Versus Evil’s Broken Roads with the latest character origin story for the game.

Today’s video puts the spotlight on the Hired Gun mercenary. Growing up with a gun in their hand, they were outsourced as a sharpshooter by their tyrannical parents. who practiced the motto “a hungry kid shoots better.” Blazing a trail on their lonesome, they try to make sense of this mad world.

This isometric RPG also features the Barter Crew, Jackaroo, and Surveyor classes.

Throughout Broken Roads, players will utilize traditional and new role-playing elements on top of a classless system. This leads to near-unlimited character development options that are built around the Humanist, Utilitarian, Machiavellian, and Nihilist philosophies.

Broken Roads also features an original morality system in the form of its Moral Compass. This sees dialogue options and questing decisions revolving around a character’s philosophical leaning.

The game will come out for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. In the case of the latter, a demo can be downloaded on the official Steam page.
