Bandai Namco announced that the first Dark Souls III DLC will be released October 26. The news was first reported via Japanese Video Game website Esuteru.
A following Tweet (now deleted) was seen from official @playstation twitter account stating the release date would be October 25 with a Launch Trailer to follow. Currently typing in the link for the trailer only brings up a Private Window screen however. According to a translation by siliconera “Ashes of Ariandel” will feature new weapons, magic and a PvP-exclusive map.
The DLC will set you back 1,200 Yen or 2,000 for the season pass. Currently Dark Souls III DLC sits at $24.99 USD on the PlayStation Store.
