Far Cry Primal Announced Alongside Reveal Trailer
Far Cry is going back to the Stone Age with Far Cry Primal. Focusing more on tribal warfare and survival, instead of big explosions and flamethrowers. Check out the reveal trailer and get some more details here!
Far Cry Primal Announced
You play as Takkar, the seasoned hunter and last surviving member of his hunting group. Takkar has one objective to complete and that is survival against the beasts of Oros, the area where you will play. Takkar will eventually run into other humans who will help him survive in the harsh wilderness of Oros. They will help you master fire, kill beasts, make weapons and new tools. Be wary though, not all humans will be looking to help you survive. Enemy tribes and hunting groups will try to kill you on site.

So when a team proposed to explore the idea of a Far Cry taking place during the Stone Age, we just said ‘let’s hear it!’ And the more we heard about it, the more we realized how much of a damn good idea it actually was,”[/testimonials] [testimonials user=” email=” name=’Jean-Christophe Guyot, creative director, Ubisoft’ photo=”] “The Stone Age is the perfect setting for a Far Cry game, Far Cry usually puts you at the edge of the known world, in a beautiful, lawless and savage frontier. The Stone Age is, in a way, the very first frontier for humankind; it’s the time when humans put a stick in the ground and claimed land for their own, the time when we started climbing the food chain. That came with conflict, against other humans of course, but also against nature itself.”[/testimonials]After Far Cry 4 I was a bit worried about where the series would go. I think this is a smart move and I will be watching this one closely. According to the trailer we can expect to see Far Cry Primal on February 23rd, 2016.
