Genshin Impact Version 4.2 Launching November 8th

Version 4.2 of HoyoVerse’s Genshin Impact, dubbed “Masquerade of the Guilty,” will launch on November 8.

New characters as part of this release include the “Endless Solo of Solitude” Furina (a 5-Star Hydro Sword) and the “Lens of Verity” Charlotte (a 4-Star Cryo Catalyst).

Event Wishes for Phase I include Chanson of Many Waters (for Furina and Charlotte) and Immaculate Pulse (for Baizhu and Charlotte). Meanwhile, Event Wishes for Phase II include the Twilight Arbiter for Cyno and the Azure Excursion for Kamisato Ayato. Players will also be able to wield the Splendor of Tranquil Waters, a 5-Star Sword.

Finally, new quests include Masquerade of the Guilty (Chapter IV, Act V), Animula Chorage Chapter: Act 1 (Furina), and the World Quests “The Wild Fairy of Erinnyes” and “Search of the Algae Sea.”
