Gimmick! Special Edition Announced

The youkai Yumetaro is back with the release of Bitwave Games, City Connection, and Sunsoft’s Gimmick! Special Edition later this year.

Originally released for the Nintendo Entertainment System/Famicom in Scandinavia and Japan in 1992, Gimmick! Has players controlling Yumetaro and using his star-shooting power to defeat enemies and save the day. To create its world, the design team used advanced tileset algorithms and an expanded sound chip.

Bonus features to this title include achievements, a time attack mode, save, load, and rewind functionality, and a gallery mode.
