Deep Silver today announced the official release date for the upcoming open-world first-person shooter, Homefront: The Revolution, coming to North America retail outlets on May 17th before a May 20th release around the world. Players wanting to sample the glory of the revolution prior to the official release are invited to sign up for Closed Beta access which is now available via the games official website. The Closed Beta is expected to launch sometime in February and will be available exclusively on the Xbox One.
Closed Beta access to Homefront: The Revolution is only available via sign up on the official website or via a token, and the team warn players that places are limited. Both Deep Silver and Xbox will be hosting a number of promotional events in coming weeks that will give players the chance to grab a token and secure their access to the Closed Beta event.
