Valve Reveal Steam Machine
Valve have finally released a prototype machine for its highly anticipated debut in the home console market with the Steam Machine. The award-winning developers of Half Life hope to bring the power of the PC to your living room with the Steam Machine boasting an impressive GeForce GTX 780 video card and Intel Core i7-processor, on par with PC’s that can handle all of today’s most technically demanding titles.
Only 300 were sent out to be tested and although a small number of issues have been reported, Valve are happy with the progress thus far. Using SteamOS based on the popular Linux platform gamers can expect a smooth gaming experience with their entire Steam library available from the comfort of the couch.
Sony Confirm PlayStation Plus Titles For December
Sony today announced the full line-up of titles heading to the PlayStation Network for all players with a PlayStation Plus account. As previously announced PlayStation 4 players will be treated to some indie magic with Resogun and Contrast while Trine 2 and Motherload enjoy a 20% and 10% discount respectively. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag owners on the PlayStation 4 will also be treated to a unique ship figurehead.
PlayStation 3 subscribers will get a free copy of Grid 2 and Guacamelee, with the latter featuring in the cross-buy PlayStation Vita deal. Vita players can expect to enjoy Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing and Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City with their PS Plus membership.
Lindsay Lohan To Sue Rockstar?
Rumors have surfaced suggesting that Lindsay Lohan, the star of Mean Girls, could possibly attempt to take class action against Rockstar for the likeliness of images used in the record-breaking Grand Theft Auto V. Currently neither Rockstar nor Lindsay herself have made any official comment but the rumor began spreading from several sources at the same time, suggesting there’s more to this than simply creating hype for traffic. Sony Reveal The 12 Deals Of Christmas
Sony previously promised gamers some epic deals in the build up to the festive period and they’ve stuck to their word as they revealed the first sets of deals. EA Sports’ critically acclaimed football title, FIFA 14, will be available on both the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation VITA with a staggering 50% discount. The deals end on December 3rd.
