NAtURAL DOCtRINE Screenshots and Trailer Demo Strategic Elements
Fans of hardcore strategy RPGs are in for a real treat this fall when NAtURAL DOCtRINE hits the scene. Crafted by one of the creative minds behind Final Fantasy XII and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, new media shows the depth of the system in action.
As the debut title from Kadokawa Game Studios (published on behalf of NIS America), NAtURAL DOCtRINE takes a page from grid-based strategy RPGs like Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy Tactics. However, each of these grid squares allows for free-roaming strategic elements not unlike the ones found in Valkyria Chronicles and XCOM: Enemy Unknown. Maps include interactive elements that open up alternative paths, dig up hidden treasure, and unleash terrible beasts. Paired with its chain-building “Linking” system, and it’s easy to see the depth this title brings to the table.
