Respawn Entertainment, developer of Titanfall, revealed today that Titanfall will be getting a new DLC. This DLC is titled “Frontier’s Edge” and is the second of three planned DLC packs. Frontier’s Edge will bring 3 new multiplayer maps to the already predominately multiplayer game. These maps will add to the total selection of maps and will hopefully change things up in a nice way.
The brand new DLC claim to be “pushing the battle to the furthest reaches of the universe” with the 3 brand new maps. The maps included in the DLC are an isolated mining outpost called “Dig Site”, an exclusive beach resort titled “Haven” and a mining hub on the edge of a mountain called “Export”. Not much more is known about the coming Titanfall DLC update. The release date of Frontier’s Edge has not yet been announced.
Frontier’s Edge will be available for $9.99 on the release date, whenever that may be. Players who purchased the season pass for $24.99 will get the DLC as soon as it launches without having to pay the extra cost of $9.99. The Titanfall season pass can be purchased for Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC and the DLC will be available for all three platforms as well. If you’re craving new Titanfall content to keep the game alive, be sure to watch out for the second Titanfall DLC.
