To the surprise of many WWE fans awaiting the next-generation release of the highly anticipated WWE 2K15, 2K recently announced that the newly revealed Who Got NXT mode will be exclusive to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game. The NXT centered mode will feature five of NXT’s most popular superstars such as Sami Zayn, Adrian Neville, Rusev, Corey Graves and Bo Dallas – each of which are given their own story-driven chapter that consists of 4 matches that players will need to complete.
Players that successfully complete the matches in sequential order, including potential stipulations that may arise, will unlock that featured NXT Superstar on the main roster, making the wrestler accessible in other modes. Completing each of the chapters for all five of the NXT Superstars will offer players the opportunity to test their ability in the spiritual successor to WWE 2K14’s Defeat the Streak mode with the new John Cena (this years cover Superstar) centered channel, the Proving Ground.
Visual Concepts Senior Designer, Bryan Williams, recently posted a detailed entry in the developer diary with more details surrounding the Who Got NXT mode, which can be viewed here.
