Players will be able to uncover the mysteries of the Starfall Islands with today’s release of Sonic Team and SEGA’s Sonic Frontiers.
As the titular Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic Frontiers features the series’ first open world that is filled with springs, boost pads, and grind rails. Players will solve puzzles to collect items, fighting robot enemies along the way. Sonic’s moveset includes a double jump, sidestep with the shoulder buttons, drop dash, and boost.
Defeated bosses provide Sonic with pieces of a portal that gives Sonic the chance to enter “Cyber Space” levels that are similar to those from previous entries.
