During Gamescom 2023, Warhammer 40,000 Rogue Trader got a new trailer that is all about companions. The best news? The game will have online co-op.
Warhammer 40,000 Rogue Trader Shows Off New Companions Including Space Marine
Being that you play as a Rogue Trader in the game, you get to pick from various citizens of the Imperium to join your team. One option is Abelard Weserian, an older advisor who wields a shotgun and giant mace in combat. Another option is Idira Tlass, the game Psyker. For those unfamiliar, Pysker’s buff allies and can do a bit of magic damage as well.
Sister Argenta is probably my favorite in the trailer. She used fire magic and a flamethrower, which is my go-to weapon in these types of games. And for those looking for a Space Marine, don’t worry; there is one of those you can ally up with. Snipers, healers, buffers, and other companions appear, giving you plenty of options for your party.
Generally in these games, you can build custom characters for your party at some point, but no mention of that yet. The trailer ends with a quick statement that Co-op mode will be on the PC version and that the game has a special edition.
Still no word on the release.
