From 5pb, the universally acclaimed creators of Steins;Gate, comes the visual novel Chaos;Child.
As usual with these type of games, Chaos;Child features multiple routes and endings. I don’t believe it includes the good ol’ “Nice boat” ending (I realize it’s an old meme, but I couldn’t help myself). Developer 5pb promises that “players will be busy for up 50+ hours” solving a series of “New Generation Murders.” Moreover, Chaos;Child is about this bizarre series of mysterious deaths around Shibuya, Tokyo. As expected, it takes a brave high school youth and his Newspaper Club to step in and solve the mystery. Protagonist Takuru Miyashiro and his club become embroiled in an investigation that will lead them down a treacherous path.
Chaos;Child introduces a gameplay mechanic being called the “delusion system.” This new element essentially allows the player to react accordingly to each case presented. Watch the trailer down below.
