DotEmu has announced a release date for their extreme frisbee throwing title Windjammers.
The title will launch for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on August 29, 2017. The game originally came out for the Neo-Geo MVS and AES systems, and combines both sports and fighting game mechanics. The goal? Players must defend their goal zones as they try to manuever a disc around their opponent to score points.

For those who cannot get enough of the game, Fangamer and Wham-O have teamed up to create a line of official merchandise. Shirts, caps, pins and Frisbee discs will be available to purchase on August 29, 2017.
