Wolfenstein: The New Order will officially be launching in North America, Europe and Australia, simultaneously on May 20th. Coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, Wolfenstein: The New Order was originally slated to have a staggered launch.
MachineGames, hard at work on first person shooter Wolfenstein: The New Order, attempts to create a new twist on the ever-famous, classic FPS Wolfenstein. The scene is set in 1960, just after WWII. Nazi’s have taken over the world with the help of advanced robot technologies and only you can stop them. In this action packed adventure, you play as Captain B.J. Blazkowicz in an attempt to stop post WWII Nazi domination.
With just under two months, it’s time to get excited for Wolfenstein: The New Order. In a press release back in 2013, Jens Matthies, creative director at MachineGames said, “We are excited to bring a new chapter of Wolfenstein to gamers everywhere; As fans of the series, working on this game is an honor, and our team is driven to create an unforgettable action-adventure experience that will make FPS fans proud.” Let’s hope that Wolfenstein: The World Order lives up to this statement.
As an added bonus, fans who preorder the game also get access to the DOOM beta at a later date.
