How To Learn New Abilities In Final Fantasy Explorers

In order to learn new abilities you will first need some CP (Crystal Points). You can get this from main quests and side quests. Once you have enough, visit the giant crystal in town and you can pick up some new abilities. Cure will work on any class so you should grab that to heal with. Other than that it will basically show you which abilities you can use on which class, green ones mean that class can use it, white ones mean it is for another class and grey ones mean you already have that ability.

Any mage you have will start off with will only their unique abilities to start with. On a black mage this means all your have to begin with is barrier. The crystal is where you will learn all your spells for all your mages. You can also learn custom abilities here, which will add mutations to your moves. The mutations can do a ton of different things but the basic ones improve your resonance ability. If you stack all your moves with the same mutation, like Resonance Factor, the stronger the mutation will be.
