Before you’re able to get started, you need to have a Wood Hammer or better. To unlock the Wood Hammer recipe open the Tech menu and head to the Weapons tree. I know, it’s not a weapon. Anyway, once you have this unlocked, craft yourself one and place it on your hotbar. Then activate as you would any weapon so you are carrying it in your hand.
How To Repair Structures For Task In The Front
Then you simply need to repair a structure. If you have already set up auto-repairing in your camp, your structures are unlikely to be damaged. To combat this we recommend building something outside of your bases auto-repair range. We used wooden spikes, but any structure with high degradation should work.
Leave it outside your base for 20 minutes until the HP has started to drop then simply approach it with the Wood Hammer equipped. As you look at the structure it will inform you of the materials required to repair it. Once you have the materials simply hit the structure with the hammer to repair it and complete the Task.
