The Mysterious Key is an item you get from Chorizo during Yaran Stories. This guide on What To Do With The Mysterious Key In Far Cry 6 answers the simple quest, what is the Mysterious Key for? Isla Santuario is the island you visit at the very beginning of the game, in the South West corner of the map. I looked up Guau-Guau and it appeared to possibly be a loose translations of Woo-Woof, so I spent ages looking around the Northern part of the island as it looks strangely like a dog barking when you fully zoom out. However, that was a complete waste of time because Guau-Guau was simply referring to the name of an island. Well, that was 2 hours of my life I’ll never get back. It’s hard to see this is even on a beach as the clue says, it’s clearly an island. Anyway, to the solution.

You will find the chest that the Mysterious Key opens on this island, the island of Guau-Guau. There’s a lady standing near an ornate chest, one of its kind. Simply approach it and you can use the key to open the chest.
