Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is the next installment in the critically acclaimed, award-winning action-adventure franchise from Ubisoft. Sticking with the open world approach that made the previous titles so successful Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag gives players the opportunity to take to the high seas as they embrace a whole new style of combat alongside the trademark stealth features.

Following on from the previous title Ubisoft decided to offer far more ocean combat and ship gameplay, a huge request from fans after the successful debut of these mechanics. Whether you love or loathe the franchise you have to admire Ubisoft’s willingness to take risks and implement something very few players expected.

The game first launched on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms on October 29th, 2013, next-generation versions are also scheduled to release on launch day for both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
