How To Evolve Charcadet In Pokemon Violet & Pokemon Scarlet

Charcadet is one of Gen 9’s coolest-looking Pokemon. In this guide on How To Evolve Charcadet In Pokemon Violet & Pokemon Scarlet we’ll walk you through the process of evolving Charcadet into its evolved form, which is different whether you are playing Pokemon Scarlet or Pokemon Violet.

There is a clue in the school about a suit of armor, Gengar, and Charcadet, but you don’t need to read it for the evolution to work.

How To Evolve Charcadet In Pokemon Scarlet

Zapapico
The first thing you’re going to want to do is to hunt down some Bronzor’s, you can find a good gathering of them at these ruins here, in the Asado Desert. There are a lot of Bronzor’s at this location and they respawn really fast. You need to kill or catch 10x Bronzor to get the Bronzor Fragments.

Once you have the Bronzor Fragments, head to this location in Zapapico. There is a man here standing by a fountain. As you approach you will notice he has a yellow speech bubble above his head, this signifies that he has an important interaction or something, not just pointless blabble. Speak with him and he will offer to trade you for 10 Bronzor Fragments. Accept the trade and you will get the Auspicious Armor. Don’t equip Charcadet with the Auspicious Armor as that won’t do anything.

Instead, use the Auspicious Armor on Charcadet and he will evolve in to the form for your version.

How To Evolve Charcadet In Pokemon Violet

It’s literally the same as it is above, except instead of Bronzor Materials, the lady standing there wants Sinistea Chips. So, head to the location above. There are plenty of Sinistea that spawn directly outside of Alfornada, to the South of the town. Defeat enough of these to get 10x Sinistea Chips and then head to Zapapico and deliver them to get the armor. Then use the armor on Charcadet, don’t equip it, use it.

Now operating under the guise of Editor-in-Chief (purely because we felt the position was needed for public relations purposes), he's tasked with a lot of the kind of jobs that would put you to sleep at your desk. When he's not catching some Zs, you'll likely find him arguing points he knows nothing about, playing the latest rogue-like he'll never complete, or breaking something on the website that never needed fixing.
