Mars is the last stop in Destiny and the last area you can collect Golden Chests in. This location guide will help you find them all while you play the missions or while you are exploring Mars. Let’s get started.
Mars Golden Chest Locations – Where Are The Golden Chests On Mars In Destiny?
Mars Golden Chest Guide 1: You can get this chest during the Exclusion Zone mission. After little light triggers the fail safe you will be introduced to the Legion. Clear them out and look right to see another building you can enter. Go in there and on top of some crates you will find the gold chest.
Mars Golden Chest Guide 2: Eventually you will go through a tunnel and end up in the Hollows. Before you exit the tunnel there will be a tiny hole you can jump through. It is right after the ramp in the tunnel and you can see the exit as well. The platform is metal and has some beams sticking out of it as well. Go into the corner near there and double jump up and crouch to the other side for the chest.
Mars Golden Chest Guide 3: You can get this chest during the Dust Palace strike mission. Once you get to the first door in the Dusk Palace look for the doorway with the number 3 near it. Enter that doorway and behind the desk you can find the gold chest.
Mars Golden Chest Guide 4: You get this golden chest during The Garden’s Spire mission. Once you make it to the Iron Line you will come to a very large gate and you will get ambushed. Kill all the enemies but wait to open the gate. If you look up and to the left of the gate you will see a platform. You want to go to the crates under the platform and use them to jump to the pipes. Use the pipes to get up to the platform and follow that path to the second platform. At the end of the path you will find the chest. If you entered the Iron Keep you have gone to far.
Mars Golden Chest Guide 5: This chest is during the Rising Tide mission. After you beat the cyclops you will enter Tharsis Junction. There is a warp gate behind a train car that you need to destroy. In the room next to the gate you can find the chest behind the grates.
