The Moon is the second area you can find Golden Chests in. After you complete the first mission on the Moon you can start searching the surface for the chests. This guide will help you find all the Golden Chest locations on the Moon in Destiny with no trouble at all. Let’s get started.
Moon Golden Chest Locations – Where Are The Golden Chests On The Moon In Destiny?
If you miss a chest you can go back and get it later. Look for the green dots on the chests to spot them easier. Maybe if Bungie actually put in a map it would also be easier to find them…
Moon Golden Chest Guide 1:: You get this during The World’s Grave mission. Once you find the cave with the cocoons on the wall drop down to the bottom floor. At the bottom enter the small pond an follow it around to a small gap with the chest inside.
Moon Golden Chest Guide 2: Follow the road to the large yellow building mission marker and instead of going inside follow the road around. Keep going until you find the large crater filled with green gas. There is a jump over the green gas crater but skip that for now. Instead look on behind the ramp and you will see a rock formation with a couple of orange lights near it. On the top of that formation you can find the chest.
Moon Golden Chest Guide 3: During the mission The World’s Grave you will get to the end and have to defend your ghost while it gathers data. In that room there is a little bit of water and a rock wall. On the wall you can find the chest.
Moon Golden Chest Guide 4: This chest is found in the Temple of Crota so do the Chamber of Night mission. Once you enter the temple keep going down until you start facing off with enemies. Eventually you will get a room with an hive ship in the center that has ramps coming off it. Take the ramp up to the ship then go to the other ramp and look down and to the right. Jump to that ledge and follow the other ledges to get the chest.
Moon Golden Chest Guide 5: This is done during The Summoning Pits Strike mission. At the end of the level you will fight a large boss. Right after the boss fight head to the edge of the room and down to the platform. Near the pillars you will see the Golden Chest.
