Nioh Dung Ball Guide (Dungball Roller Trophy)
There’s a rather strange side quest in Nioh that sees a fellow behind a door asking you to gather dung. This Nioh Dung Ball Guide will tell you how much dung you need to do get to complete the quest and get the trophy while also providing information on how to farm the dung quickly and what you get in return.
Nioh Dung Ball Guide (Dungball Roller Trophy) – How To Farm Dung Balls
The quickest way to farm Dung Ball’s is to progress through the mission until you unlock the first shortcut door – at the end of the wooden pathway from the first Shrine. Now, return to the first Shrine and activate it to respawn the enemies. Go down the stairs near the shrine and take a left, there’s a Mudman (the ooze like enemies) in the water. Using fire magic, weapons or Guardian Spirit Talisman (Enko works great for this) take it out before it actually rises from the water. Then run through the shortcut down and drop down. There’s one on the roof here and one to the right. Again, using Enko’s Guardian Spirit Talisman ability 1-hits these. Takes about 30 seconds per run.
Nioh Dung Ball Guide (Dungball Roller Trophy) – How Many Dung Balls Do You Need?
You need to collect 1 Dung Ball for the emote, 15 for the Soulstone and 30ish for the full reward (the trophy and the helmet). You can occasionally get Noble Dung Balls from the Mudmen but these appear to be worth the same as the regular Dung Ball’s so I’d probably save those for the anti-healing effect.Nioh Dung Ball Guide (Dungball Roller Trophy) – What Do You Get For Trading In The Dung Balls?
When you first trade in a Dung Ball he gives you a Gesture, Thank You. When you trade in half the total amount, 15 Dung Balls, he gives you a Soulstone. When you trade in the complete 20 Dung Balls you get the Dungball Roller Trophy and the Horned Turban Kabuto helmet (featured above).
